This jersey shows pretty good wear for a maroon alternate. A few dark marks with associated stick damage can be seen in the front hem stripe. An assortment of small material snags is present in various places on the body. The left sleeve numbers have visible stick marks. The Avalanche ten-year anniversary patch is located on the left chest. The Meigray tag is sewn in the rear hem. This season's jerseys are tagged "04-05" as the jerseys were prepped prior to the lockout—an additional tag has been sewn next to the set tag designating the jersey as having been worn in 05-06 instead.

Antti Laaksonen began his journey to the NHL when he was playing in Finland for Forssa of the Finland Jr. league in 1990-91. During that same year, he also played for the FoPS Forssa. The following season, he played for the FoPS Finland Jr. and recorded 19 goals and 23 assist in 24 games. During the 1992-93 season, Laaksonen played in the Finland Jr. league for nine games before being traded to the HPK Hameenlinna. He played in only a single game with the team before being called up to FoPS. During that same season, Laaksonen played for Finland's National team recording no points in two games.
Laaksonen enrolled at the University of Denver in the fall of 1993 and was a member of the team's varsity team. During the four seasons he played (1993-97), he recorded 75 goals and 72 assists in 144 games. In 1997-98, Laaksonen played for the AHL's Providence Bruins for 38 games recording three goals and two assists and with the ECHL's Charlotte Checkers for 15 games. Drafted by the Boston Bruins, 191st overall in 1997, the following season Laaksonen played in 11 games for the team. He would also return to the Providence Bruins for the remainder of the season, playing 66 games. In 1999-00, Laaksonen would do the same, this time playing 27 games with Boston and 40 games with Providence. During his two seasons with the Boston Bruins, he scored seven goals and had five assists. After spending three seasons in the Boston organization, Laaksonen signed as a free agent with the Minnesota Wild in the summer of 2000 and went on to play four seasons with the club as one of the team's offensive leaders, before being acquired by the Colorado Avalanche in the summer of 2004. On the international stage, Laaksonen has represented Finland at the World Junior Championships (1993) the World Championships (2001, 2004), and the Winter Olympics (2006).Left Wing
